This project tackled a network closet that had grown chaotic over time — as seen in the before photo, cabling was routed haphazardly with no clear pathing, patch panels were poorly labeled, and equipment was stacked without a logical layout, making even simple tasks like identifying a faulty connection a time-consuming challenge. Loose cables ran across shelving and equipment in a way that created both a safety hazard and an ongoing maintenance headache.

Our team rebuilt the space from the ground up: switches, patch panels, and network appliances were remounted into a proper rack configuration, with all cabling re-routed through structured pathways along the wall. We separated and color-coded cable runs by type and function, added new vertical cable management, and ensured every connection point was clearly accessible for future service. Equipment was also repositioned to optimize airflow and reduce heat buildup, which helps prevent premature hardware failure.
